The Inside Story
This lamp runs on 400V at 2500W, packing a lot of heat into a tidy 300mm length. That power density is exactly what you need to drive heat right where it matters—at the preform wall—so the material hits processing temperature faster. And that 300mm size? It lines up perfectly with the HyPET heating zone. No fighting for space. No uneven temperatures. Just a clean, consistent profile. The wattage and voltage are chosen for a fast ramp-up, sure. But here’s the thing: that also means your machine’s cooling and electrical setup need to be up to the task—able to handle the ambient heat and the current load without breaking a sweat.
Material and Build
Inside, you’ve got a halogen element in a quartz tube. That gives you stable, high-intensity infrared output, so temperature control stays steady through the whole heating window. The tube coating helps shape the heat and keep more of it where it counts—driving energy into the PET instead of losing it to the surroundings. And the connectors? We use R7s or Sk15 for a reason. On the shop floor, those ends give you a secure, repeatable mount and a solid electrical connection. The lamp stays aligned, and you avoid hot spots that come from shaky contacts.
